The engine is in the guise it ran in during the mid 2000s, just as I remember it. A deep maroon and a sense of pure purpose. A steam whisps out, the driver gently eases the loco away from the turntable to take water before rejoining the train. Hundreds of thousands of happy holiday makers have enjoyed the same sounds and smells over the years. What a fantastic childhood that was, pressed up against the fence at Hythe watching the 1\/3 scale miniature locomotives come and go. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis painting measures roughly 21x17 inches framed and just under that unframed. It's painted with acrylics and is on thin canvas board, making it relatively easy to reframe to your choice. It's finished with a few layers of gloss varnish for a nice shine. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach of my paintings is created through love for the hobby and passion for the engines. The loco was built alongside sister Dr Syn for the world famous Romney Hythe \u0026amp; Dymchurch Railway - a miniature racecourse on the south coast of Kent.
